Mahalabia

 

Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp rose water

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and cornstarch in a bowl until well mixed. Add 1/4 cup milk and mix well until no lumps. Heat remaining milk. When hot mix in cornstarch-sugar mixture slowly. Cook 2-5 minutes until thickens up, stirring slowly. Take off heat and add flavoring. Set in fridge 4 hours.

I often add honey syrup or rose water syrup
