Popovers

2 cups warm milk

4 eggs

2 cups flour, sifted

1 tbsp salt

1 ¼ cup grated Gruyere cheese

Popover pan

Place pan in oven and heat to 350F. Warm the milk and set aside. Beat eggs until frothy and slowly whisk in the milk. Slowly add flour and salt and gently combine until mostly smooth.

Remove popover pan from oven and sorry with Pam. Fill pans with still-warm batter ¾ full. Top each one with 2tbsp cheese. Bake at 350F for 50 minutes, rotating pan half a turn after 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
